Educational Activity at the Mandraki Primary School

On the occasion of World Environment Day, an educational visit was carried out on Friday, June 6th, at the Mandraki Primary School by the geoscientist of the Nisyros Geopark, as part of the park’s environmental awareness initiatives.

During the visit, an educational dialogue was held on the following topics:

✅ Waste recycling
✅ Proper use of the different waste separation bins, which have been placed in the schoolyard by the Municipality of Nisyros
✅ The composting process of organic waste

Students of all ages participated with enthusiasm, showing interest and sensitivity toward issues related to environmental protection and sustainable waste management. 🌱
