International Museum Day 2025

Our young visitors at the Volcanological Museum of Nisyros!

On the occasion of International Museum Day 2025, we had the pleasure of welcoming the children of the Nisyros Kindergarten, along with many other visitors, for a joyful celebration of learning and discovery — with free admission for all!

The children explored the exhibits, took part in interactive activities, and learned about the island’s volcano through play and curiosity!
Thank you to everyone who celebrated with us — at the museum located right on the edge of the caldera, in beautiful Nikia!
