Invitation to the 1st Alasarnites Gathering

Nisyros Geopark is proud to support and join the welcome ceremony of the 1st Alasarnites Gathering on Sunday, May 11th at 10:30 a.m. at the port of Kardamaina, just outside the Cultural Association of Nisyros “Diavatis” — next to the Geopark Office!

With traditional Nisyrian dances and local treats, we will welcome around 200 visitors from cultural associations across Greece, highlighting the deep cultural ties between our islands.
The Gathering is co-organized by the Cultural Association of Kardamaina “Argó” and the Lyceum Club of Greek Women of Kardamaina, as part of the Winter Hippocratia Festival of the Municipality of Kos.

Another inspiring collaboration that showcases the vibrant cultural identity of Nisyros and the importance of inter-island cooperation in promoting the heritage of the Aegean.
