Nisyros Geopark at the 2025 IAVCEI Scientific Assembly – World Volcano Conference!

We are proud to announce the participation of Nisyros Geopark at the International Association of Volcanology and Chemistry of the Earth’s Interior (IAVCEI) conference taking place in Geneva between 29 June– 4 July 2025 ! Our scientific coordinator, Evi Nomikou, represents our Geopark, presenting the unique volcanic heritage and ongoing research activities on our island.

Our presence at this global event strengthens the scientific recognition of Nisyros Geopark and promotes the volcanic heritage and sustainable development of our region.

We continue to share the secrets of our volcano with the world and contribute to the global scientific community!
