Educational Animation Workshop “Human Magma”

The educational animation workshop “Human Magma” organized by ANIMASYROS in collaboration with the Cultural Association of Nisyros “Diavatis” and Nisyros Geopark was completed with great success on April 7th & 8th.

As part of the workshop, the children of the Mandraki elementary school had the great opportunity to be guided inside the largest hydrothermal crater of the Geopark, as well as visit the impressive Volcanological Museum at Nikia and discover the magical world of volcanoes, by the Associate Professor of Geological Oceanography of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Evi Nomikou.
