Educational Trip to Nisyros Geopark

The educational activity organized by the 4th Directorate of Primary Education of Athens was successfully completed at the Nisyros Geopark, from June 22 to 27, 2025!
Teachers from Athens had the opportunity to experience firsthand the unique geological identity of Nisyros, as part of an environmental awareness and teacher training program. The initiative of the Director of Education, Mr. Ioannis Koumentos, along with the active involvement of the Coordinators for School Activities, played a key role in the success of this program.

The collaboration between scientific institutions, the educational community, and local authorities continues to be a cornerstone for meaningful and impactful awareness and training programs.
