Soumada Festival

At Nisyros UNESCO Global Geopark, geological heritage goes hand in hand with the traditions that keep the island’s identity alive.

The Soumada Festival celebrates local hospitality, flavours and living traditions. It is an opportunity to discover Nisyros’ traditional almond drink, enjoy authentic local music and experience customs that have been passed down from generation to generation.

The evening will feature traditional dances by the “Diavatis” Cultural Association Dance Group, accompanied by musicians Kyriakos Papoulis, Hippokratis Patakos and Evangelos Kazantis.
